The earliest that students will receive their FAFSA Submission Summary from FSA will be late January 2024. Then, students will receive an estimate of their Student Aid Index (SAI) in addition to an estimate of their Pell Grant eligibility.
Corrections to the form cannot be made until late January 2024.
FSA will not transmit students’ FAFSA information to colleges/universities until late January 2024. Students may not receive official correspondence regarding their financial aid offers from their desired institutions until mid-to-late February.
Keep a record of due dates (i.e. external and institutional scholarships)
Respond immediately from all emails received from an “@studentaid.gov” account.
Continue to visit studentaid.gov to receive official information on the FAFSA.
