How do I get started with Alabama Direct Admission program?
Create a free profile here on the Match site and upload your transcript which is accessible via PowerSchool. From there, you’ll see guaranteed admission offers from colleges on October 6th that match your academic background. You decide which ones to explore!
Are the Direct Admission offers through Match official?
Yes! These are real, verified admission offers from participating colleges. No additional application is required.
Does accepting a Direct Admission offer mean I have to enroll?
No. These offers are not binding. You can accept as many Direct Admissions offers as you’d like or decline them.
Do I need to respond to my Direct Admission offers?
Yes. Stating your interest in the Direct Admission offers signals to the institution to process you as a fully admitted student to that college. They won’t be able to do this, if you don’t respond to let them know.
Will I get scholarships with my offer?
Many colleges include merit-based scholarships along with your Direct Admission offers. These vary by school, but the goal is to make college more affordable from the start.
Will I receive out-of-state offers?
If you’ve indicated interest in out-of-state opportunities for college then yes, you would receive out-of-state Direct Admission offers after receiving your in-state Direct Admission offers.
