Alabama women can apply for a scholarship of $9,000 per year to be used towards undergraduate studies at Alabama 4-year colleges or universities. - NAACP Foot Soldiers Scholarships

The Alabama NAACP is pleased to partner with Regions Bank to provide two $3,500 scholarships to two graduating Alabama high school seniors! The Alabama NAACP Foot Soldiers Scholarship is a need-based scholarship opportunity open to graduating Alabama seniors who choose to enroll at an Alabama college or university. A letter of acceptance is required. The Foot Soldiers who marched from Selma to Montgomery developed a quintessential blueprint for people in Alabama and worldwide to have unfettered access to the political process, the educational process, the economic process, the employment process, and the housing process. The AL NAACP and Regions Bank both recognize that small incentives could bridge the gap and make a difference for students who have educational needs. - Live Mas Scholarship
Deadline: January 11, 2022
In 2022, the Taco Bell Foundation will award $7 million in Live Más Scholarships. Applications open November 1, 2021, and close January 11, 2022. The Live Más Scholarship is for students planning on or currently attending a university, a community college, or a vocational school.
