Higher Education Alliance
Our Higher Education Alliance brings together administrators, faculty, and students from more than 20 colleges and universities around the state. Our members are committed to educating college students to become active citizens through classroom teaching, service-learning, and civic engagement.
We provide a wide range of services, including professional development opportunities, on-site presentations, and information services in response to requests from member campuses and their community partners.
By leveraging the resources of our Higher Education Alliance members, we are engaging college students to be leaders and catalysts to develop creative solutions to eradicate poverty. This work will build a core group of emerging leaders who understand community assets, can identify root causes of poverty and vulnerability, and will manage projects to build long-term economic security and opportunity.
