Poverty Group Tabs Corley

Robert Corley of Birmingham has been elected chair of the executive committee of the Alabama Poverty Project board of directors.
The Alabama Poverty Project develops educational programs to help Alabama citizens reduce poverty.
Other new executive committee officers are Lynn Beshear, Montgomery, vice-chair; Cynthia Wise, Dothan, secretary; Wilford S. Bailey, Auburn, treasurer; and Kimble Forrister, Montgomery, and Wayne Flynt, Auburn, members-at-large.
Corley is director of the Center for Urban Affairs at UAB.
